Project Manager leading a multi-site HIV stigma reduction program at Emory University. Overseeing partnerships, training, and evaluation activities within public health settings.
Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day operations of the stigma reduction program in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Develop and maintain detailed project work plans, timelines, and deliverables.
Monitor progress and ensure that project milestones and goals are achieved on time and within scope.
Coordinate internal staff and provide supervision or oversight, if applicable.
Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with FQHC partners, academic collaborators, public health agencies, and other stakeholders.
Serve as the primary liaison between the program team and FQHCs, ensuring clear communication and responsive support.
Facilitate collaboration between academic and non-academic partners, promoting shared goals and knowledge exchange.
Engage and coordinate with the Community Advisory Board (CAB) to ensure community input is integrated throughout all phases of the program.
Coordinate the delivery of stigma reduction training sessions and technical assistance for clinical and non-clinical staff at participating FQHCs.
Work with content experts and facilitators to adapt training materials to the needs of each site.
Support partners in building internal capacity for sustainability of intervention practices.
Oversee implementation of monitoring and evaluation plans, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Ensure fidelity to stigma reduction intervention models while supporting site-level adaptation.
Prepare progress reports, summaries, and other documentation for internal use, funders, and stakeholders.
Schedule and facilitate regular meetings with partners and advisory bodies, including the CAB.
Manage contracts, subawards, and other administrative processes in coordination with the finance team.
Contribute to budget tracking and resource allocation, including management of cooperative agreement compliance and reporting requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to program work and seven years of related experience which includes two years at a management level, OR an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
Experience in HIV/AIDS stigma reduction, prevention, or treatment programs.
Familiarity with implementation science principles and community-engaged research.
Experience managing academic-community partnerships, including engagement and coordination of Community Advisory Boards (CABs).
Prior experience managing U.S. government cooperative agreements or working collaboratively with government agencies.
Budget management experience or working closely with finance teams on cooperative agreements or grant compliance.
Demonstrated understanding of cultural humility and structural determinants of stigma and health disparities.
Supervisory experience or experience managing a project team.
