About the role

  • You act as a business accelerator for our clients and for DEPT®.
  • You have overall responsibility for assigned clients, ensuring successful collaboration and driving growth in sales volume.
  • You monitor product performance and client KPIs (e.g. data dashboards) and implement optimization measures when required.
  • You own client satisfaction.
  • You proactively initiate and drive strategic, sustainable customer development through appropriate formats and have a significant influence on the company’s growth.
  • You understand clients’ business goals and pain points and adapt proposals to align with their objectives.
  • You map your clients’ stakeholder landscape and maintain regular communication with relevant client stakeholders, our management, subject-matter experts and project managers, as well as other DEPT® business units where relevant.
  • You know how to ask the right questions to uncover new business areas.
  • You deliver tailored client presentations and lead regular quarterly and annual planning meetings to ensure nothing stands in the way of achieving client goals.
  • You present work both internally and externally.

Requirements

  • 3–4 years of professional experience managing global accounts in the digital experience space, handling six‑figure annual budgets or higher. Experience with Beauty, Lifestyle or FMCG clients is a strong plus.
  • You’re driven by insights and analysis and build your strategies comprehensively and logically on them.
  • You have a very good understanding of digital experience mechanisms.
  • You enjoy providing strategic advice to clients and are successful at selling your expertise profitably.
  • You bring previous experience working with agencies; experience with tech agencies is an advantage.
  • You are enthusiastic about current digital industry discussions and trends.
  • You have experience with technology environments and possess a strong understanding of platforms, UX and UI design.
  • You can present complex strategic ideas clearly in slide decks.
  • You can give clear instructions for future actions because you have a very good understanding of reporting and analysis.
  • Professional working proficiency in German with excellent English skills, capable of working with clients in German.
