About the role

  • Medical Administrative Coordinator providing essential support to nursing and medical team operations. Serving as a liaison between the medical team, camper families, and medical providers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide updates and communicate with campers’ referring physicians, medical providers, and parents/guardians when requested or needed
  • Provide administrative support to the ND/MD and medical team including helping prepare Medical Check-In forms and creating Camper Medical Alert Lists
  • Help coordinate and monitor phone calls to camper families before each session
  • Ensure confidentiality for all camper and staff medical records.
  • Help monitor the Medical Team shared inbox
  • Communicate and collaborate closely with volunteer and camper admissions teams
  • Assist in medical volunteer outreach and processing including setting up volunteer interviews
  • Support Depot inventory and medical supplies tracking, stocking, and ordering
  • Assist in stewarding the Medical Advisory Committee including preparation for the MAC meetings
  • Help with Depot upkeep including stocking of office supplies, organization, and keeping the space clean
  • Assist with calendar/meeting management for ND and MD

Requirements

  • At least 2 years intermediate level administrative or database experience, preferably medical experience
  • Intermediate to advanced computer literacy with proficiency and working knowledge of database and reporting tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
