About the role
- Managing Director Complex Claims leading a team handling General Insurance claims at AIG. Collaborating with stakeholders to drive technical excellence and ensure efficient claims management.
Responsibilities
- Manage, lead, and direct a team of Adjusters/Complex Directors
- Drive technical excellence to control indemnity and expense loss
- Collaborate with insureds, third party administrators, underwriters, and brokers
- Communicate with internal business partners including underwriters
- Partner with TPA Governance and Relationship Management
- Work with TPA Claims Financial to check TPA financials accuracy
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required
- Multi-state adjuster licenses preferred
- Prior claims management experience desired
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize projects
- Effective decision-making skills
- Strong technical expertise interpreting insurance contracts
- In-depth knowledge of claim handling procedures
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to initiate and champion change initiatives
