About the role

• Director Quality Management at Sunfire responsible for quality chain optimization and team leadership. Focused on improving product development and compliance across international locations.

Responsibilities

• Establishment and optimization of Sunfire's value chain.
• Responsibility for successful qualification by customers and certification bodies according to ISO standards.
• Quality management of product development (R&D), production processes, and Customer Project Engineering.
• Development and implementation of the product safety management strategy.
• Conducting structured trainings and serving as a role model in the quality management area.
• Building, developing, and providing technical leadership for a quality management team.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering sciences, ideally in mechanical engineering, production engineering, or a scientific discipline.
• Extensive leadership experience, either directly in quality management or in a technical role.
• Solid knowledge of quality processes, research & development, engineering, and customer projects, including EPC environments.
• Experience with CE conformity assessment procedures according to relevant EC/EU directives.
• Experience in supplier quality management and the handling of quality contracts.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to assert influence.
• Strategic and analytical thinking combined with a hands-on mentality.
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
