About the role
- Systems Manager overseeing infrastructure operations and managing team of systems administrators for Hard Rock Digital, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop team of 5-7 systems administrators including IAM, cloud, and Windows specialists
- Conduct regular performance reviews, goal setting, and career development planning
- Recruit, onboard, and train new systems administration staff
- Establish team standards, best practices, and operational procedures
- Foster collaborative team environment and knowledge sharing culture
- Develop and execute infrastructure roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Oversee day-to-day operations of Windows and cloud infrastructure
- Ensure 99.9%+ uptime for critical infrastructure systems
- Lead capacity planning and infrastructure scaling initiatives
- Manage infrastructure projects and technology upgrades
- Coordinate with network and cloud teams on infrastructure integration
- Oversee Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and identity infrastructure
- Ensure proper implementation of access controls and privilege management
- Review and approve significant identity and access changes
- Monitor identity security posture and respond to incidents
- Support compliance audits related to identity and access management
- Ensure infrastructure operations meet gaming regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with IT Compliance & Audit Manager on infrastructure audits
- Maintain comprehensive infrastructure documentation for regulatory examinations
- Implement and monitor infrastructure controls required by Gaming Control Boards
- Manage relationships with infrastructure vendors and service providers
- Negotiate contracts and service level agreements
- Develop and manage infrastructure budget and cost optimization
- Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for adoption
- Track and report on infrastructure spending and ROI
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in systems administration and infrastructure management
- 3+ years of experience in a management or team lead role
- Strong technical expertise across Windows, Active Directory, and cloud platforms
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD and identity management
- Knowledge of ITIL, change management, and incident management processes
- Technical Skills: Windows Server administration and Active Directory
