About the role

  • Maintain and configure our Applicant Tracking System (ATS)—posting/removing jobs, managing user access, and ensuring system accuracy
  • Support high-volume hiring for Stores
  • Run reports for various business partners—covering new store openings, temp usage, and other ad hoc needs
  • Lead new hire orientations and help coordinate onboarding steps—scheduling, booking rooms, and ensuring a smooth experience for every new team member
  • Maintain and reorder recruiting and marketing materials for HQ, Hot Topic and BoxLunch stores
  • Assist in organizing recruiting events and job fairs to build brand presence and connect with local talent
  • Provide general HR and recruiting administrative support as needed
  • Support full-cycle and temporary recruiting for entry-level roles—posting jobs, screening, scheduling interviews, and managing candidate and hiring manager communication

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of recruiting experience (retail or high-volume environments a plus)
  • Experience using recruiting tools (Lever, Indeed, etc.)
  • Great communication and organizational skills—you thrive on multitasking without dropping a beat. The priorities in this role will shift from day to day, and you'll be able to keep pace.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate data management
  • High energy, positive attitude, and a love for working with people
  • Team-player mentality—you collaborate, communicate, and make things happen
  • Bonus points if you love music, pop culture, fandoms, and self-expression
