About the role

  • Inside Sales Representative driving growth initiatives for Velcro Companies' Industrial and affiliated categories. Managing customer inquiries, quotes, and collaborating across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Support growth initiatives for the Industrial business through proactive communication with end users, converters, distributors, and prospects.
  • Drive internal follow-up for line extensions, pricing inquiries, and miscellaneous topics by networking and pushing internal stakeholders for deliverables.
  • Supports team achievement of established sales quota and profit, and new business objectives/targets.
  • Research answers independently by collaborating internally with R&D, Product Management, Compliance, Sales, Operations, and Customer Service.
  • Manage and qualify incoming leads and customer inquiries; ensure timely follow-up and effective hand-off to appropriate Sales or Business Development resources as needed.
  • Prepare and support customer quotations, pricing requests, and documentation related to new or existing business.
  • Assist with customer notifications, pricing updates, and product transitions.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and opportunities in Salesforce.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to align with sales strategy, pipeline, and customer feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Experience in inside sales, customer support, or technical sales environment (industrial or manufacturing experience a plus).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ownership.
  • Has the ability to "find answers" rather than hand over unanswered questions.
  • Comfortable networking across departments and collaborating with technical and commercial colleagues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (Salesforce experience preferred).
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Some travel including overnight may be required.
