About the role

  • Support employees, dependents, managers, HR management, government agencies and applicants
  • Manage incoming HR requests, chats and phone calls and support positive Employee Experience
  • Accurately complete HR transactions and document all transactions, inquiries and resolutions in HR case management system
  • Create employment-related documents, contracts, agreements and employment verification letters in a timely manner
  • Keep HR database updated regarding company structure changes and employee data
  • Support employees and managers to use self-service HR portal and new HR system
  • Support HR Business Partners and People Leaders with planning and implementation of reorganizational changes
  • Meet and strive to exceed HR Contact Center KPIs and seek first call resolution
  • Escalate customer requests when additional research or analysis is necessary
  • Manage control through transactions audit process and be proactive in handling risks or process gaps
  • Initiate and lead process improvement projects to release capacity for new processes
  • Any other duties as required by the line manager

Requirements

  • Shared Services experience is a strong advantage
  • HR background is a plus but not required
  • Speaking German and English fluently, both verbal and written
  • Proactive with good problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Paying attention to details and appropriate system inputs (handling personal and payroll-related data)
  • Team player
  • Interested in process clarifications, system implementations and change management
  • Desirable: Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields
  • 0-3 years experience within customer service or HR
  • Communicating effectively on phone and in e-mail
  • Flexibility with staff scheduling and time zone differences
  • Proficient/intermediate understanding of MS Excel and Word
  • Ability to provide HR counseling, negotiation, active listening, and effective decision making
  • Experience working interregionally and with continuous improvement initiatives
