About the role
- FP&A Analyst supporting R&D and G&A teams in financial planning. Collaborating closely with leadership to provide actionable insights from financial data.
Responsibilities
- Act as the finance business partner to R&D and G&A Leadership Team members, providing clarity on performance, costs, and variances.
- Monitor and analyze actuals, forecasts, and budgets for R&D and G&A, producing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Ensure accuracy of financial data by reviewing accounting entries, challenging discrepancies, and collaborating with Accounting for corrections when needed.
- Build and maintain reporting dashboards and analyses in Pigment to support monthly reviews, rolling forecasts, and ad hoc analysis.
- Summarize financial and accounting information into clear narratives for Leadership Teams.
- Partner with the broader FP&A team to continuously improve reporting processes and enhance efficiency and visibility.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in Finance, Audit, or Transaction Services.
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and ability to challenge GL entries.
- Experience with EPM/BI/ERP tools (Pigment & Netsuite experience are a plus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to structure complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Comfortable working autonomously, taking ownership of topics end-to-end.
- Excellent communication skills; able to build trust with Leadership Teams.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Curious, adaptable, and motivated to grow in a scale-up environment.
