About the role

Founders Associate supporting partners on strategic initiatives and managing key projects at First Momentum Ventures. Driving fund generation and collaborating with deep tech portfolio companies in Munich.

Responsibilities

You'll be the wingman of our partners and sit at the heart of First Momentum’s highest‑leverage projects, raising the next fund, launching spin‑offs, and unblocking portfolio companies while communicating fluently in German and English.
Unlock our third fund generation: drive the LP pipeline, support building the data room, refine decks and DDQs, and be a pillar of the fund‑structuring team in close collaboration with our Head of Finance and founding partners.
Run special missions: partner with portfolio companies to accelerate financing rounds, GTM pushes, or key hires, delivering tangible results in weeks, not months.
Validate and co‑incubate ventures: test new ideas, recruit core teams, and step in as launch co‑founder when conviction is high.
Coordinate strategic execution: turn whiteboard concepts into work plans, track cross-team OKRs, and keep mission-critical tasks on track, especially for high-priority projects.
Own stakeholder communication: craft crisp updates, handle inbound requests, and represent First Momentum across Europe’s tech hubs in flawless German and English.
Sharpen our operating stack: keep the CRM, dashboards, and playbooks humming, so we can move better and faster.

You thrive in fast‑paced environments and already have hands‑on experience from internships or an early career stint in VC, startups, consulting, or another high‑intensity setting.
You bring extreme ownership and high agency to spot problems, design a plan, and focus on execution.
You work in a relentlessly structured way, are skilled in process optimisation, and have a good sense of balancing speed and perfection depending on the challenge at hand.
You’re a clear, concise communicator in both German and English; you can interact with partners, the team, founders, LPs, service providers spot-on.
You learn fast and fancy technical topics; a genuine curiosity for deep‑tech or hard‑tech domains is a definite plus.
Bonus points if you’ve already supported fundraising rounds or VC deal flow and want to deepen that skill set.
You’re likely a recent graduate or early‑career professional who already knows how to operate at high speed and is eager to scale that capability with us.
