About the role

  • Manage the diary of the CEO, scheduling meetings and arranging travel (flights, hotels, etc.)
  • Draft and manage correspondence and communications, including email management
  • Organise team events and support international team culture
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and contracts
  • Support finding new offices and coordinate office moves
  • Coordinate international visitors including visas and vaccinations
  • Manage and administer the London office; be the “face of Capi” for new joiners and visitors
  • Work cross-functionally with teams in London, Paris, Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Cameroon, Kenya and more
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Build processes for team travel and streamline operations
  • First 30 days: onboarding, take over calendar, email triage, Slack scheduling, office management tasks
  • Within 60 days: build out international travel coordination processes and efficiency improvements

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant in a high-performing environment, ideally in a VC-backed start-up
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and French
  • Professional level French and professional level English
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
  • Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours when required
  • Experience with G.Suite, Calendly, Notion, Slack strongly preferred
  • Experience working in / with emerging markets a bonus
  • Location: London (must be based in London or able to relocate)
