About the role

  • Lead team responsible for managing sales consultant support and implementation of key Wealth Management Solutions (WMS) messages, campaigns, programs and product launches
  • Oversee the creation and ensure updates of sales strategy materials
  • Ensure compliance approvals obtained as needed
  • Oversee the design, development and implementation plan for the sales organization related to complex product marketing programs/initiatives
  • Provide ongoing support to sales organization by supporting team with updates at meetings and responding to requests
  • Oversee the development and implementation of virtual and in-person events
  • Set strategy and execute on tactics to drive advisor and sales consultant engagement
  • Provide recommendations for program improvements and oversee execution
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external partners

Requirements

  • 10+ years' experience in sales strategy or marketing position
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Series 7 (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
  • Series 24 (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
  • Experience with Ameriprise Financial product suite (preferred)
  • Knowledge of the Ameriprise field structure (preferred)
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to think strategically and influence people at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams
