About the role

  • Customer Relationship Manager responsible for global logistics network for Daimler Truck Parts Center in Greven. Engage in customer communications and project management to ensure optimal parts supply.

Responsibilities

  • First-level support and coordination of theft-sensitive spare parts
  • Check customers' call-off confirmations, clarify delivery situations, and chase overdue deliveries
  • Monitor goods receipts, handle complaints, and communicate with customers regarding shortages or other delivery issues (e.g., raw material shortages, quality declines, force majeure)
  • Carry out reassignments/resequencing and initiate internal clarifications
  • Allocate available material across customer orders, taking into account various influencing factors
  • Review supplier invoices related to special costs (e.g., expedited transports) and prepare statements
  • Initiate and monitor escalation levels with suppliers and internally
  • Ensure implementation of logistical requirements from concept and specification documents
  • Identify and document deviations from concept and specification documents and initiate corrective actions
  • Develop KPIs for efficient service-provider management and monitor adherence
  • Develop and implement measures to achieve targets
  • Derive and implement appropriate quality-assurance measures from customer feedback
  • Ultimately act as the key account manager for a regional market and manage it based on its topics and KPIs
  • Design and align processes and standards along the transport chain
  • Ensure consistent and sustainable customer communication
  • Optimize processes and workflows in future operational order processing
  • Contribute to defining requirements in concept and specification documents
  • Drive reduction of process complexity and implement solutions in collaboration with internal and external business partners

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in logistics, sales or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in (international) customer communication or in customer and complaints management
  • Very good knowledge of project management
  • Project management experience, ideally in the context of a rollout or system implementation at a logistics site
  • Knowledge of SAP EWM is desirable
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Additional language skills relevant to the market area (Netherlands, Belgium, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark)
  • High level of responsibility and customer focus
  • Willingness to embrace change and enjoyment in shaping new processes
  • Open demeanour combined with strong persuasion skills
  • Team player with resilience and strong problem-solving abilities
