About the role

  • Act as primary strategic interface between the CMO and market commercial leaders
  • Establish cohesive and integrated CMO model for local commercial organization
  • Orchestrate CMO capabilities aligned with business priorities and ensure operational excellence across CMO verticals
  • Serve as primary point of escalation to Local Management and CMO Vertical Leads
  • Attend local leadership forums and commercial discussions to gather insights on priorities and advise on CMO capabilities
  • Partner with Program Management Team to align deployment of CMO capabilities with market priorities
  • Develop and implement commercial excellence strategy and operations
  • Translate business priorities into actionable deliverables leveraging CMO resources
  • Act as spokesperson for the business in CMO forums and advocate market needs
  • Drive strategic analysis, resource allocation, and business operations including salesforce effectiveness, incentive plans, HCP multi-channel engagement, marketing transformations and strategic projects
  • Influence resource allocation and investment prioritization within CMO
  • Lead integrated CMO Collective Advantage Forum at market level and foster collaboration
  • Provide leadership, mentoring and development guidance to local CMO members as needed
  • Establish governance process for escalation and troubleshooting of key initiatives
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to simplify and optimize ways of working
  • Track performance metrics for CMO initiatives and translate insights into recommendations
  • Foster commercial performance culture and champion adoption of new capabilities
  • Partner with local leaders to drive change management activities to realise full value of capabilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in commercial marketing across pharma and other industries
  • Track record of strong networking and working collaboratively across functions and geographies
  • Experience leading cross-functional and cross-business projects and initiatives
  • Demonstrated executive presence and ability to effectively influence senior leaders
  • Leadership capabilities to engage and collaborate other leaders/peers and guide/support colleagues
  • Strong analytical skills to conduct root cause analyses
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks with urgency while prioritizing and meeting goals
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, take accountability, and meet deadlines
  • Absolute commitment to adherence to applicable compliance rules and regulations
  • Strong writing, presentation and influencing skills in English
  • Demonstrated Business Acumen; Leads Change; Acts Decisively
