About the role

  • Plan campaigns as part of annual planning and manage activations throughout the year
  • Own some brands and support Account Director on others
  • Line manage a Client Executive and develop direct reports
  • Manage multiple workstreams, mobilise dentsu resources and ensure processes are followed
  • Support delivery of client service plans and act as point of contact with Client Account Director/Client Director
  • Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities to support proactive client development
  • Respond to client requests and coordinate with internal stakeholders across the network
  • Manage and mobilise Carat network/OpCos to ensure timely, high-quality delivery
  • Ensure finance process is smooth: obtain POs, keep PO tracker up to date, check invoice amounts against budget
  • Actively engage in new business opportunities as appropriate
  • Work with strategists, senior planners and data to create consumer journeys and activation plans
  • Use dentsu planning tools and run ideation sessions; brief stakeholders and ensure deliverables to brief and on time

Requirements

  • Experience across multiple channels, primarily AV, social, programmatic and outdoor
  • Experience in TV and Digital channels is mandatory
  • Experience with partnerships and influencer campaigns
  • Line management experience (responsible for a Client Executive)
  • Excellent client service and relationship-building skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of commercial contract terms
  • Sound knowledge of dentsu network services and planning tools (eg Designing For People, Audience Builder)
  • Strong marketing, media and communications concepts, models, tools and frameworks
  • Good understanding of Bought, Owned and Earned (BOE) media and holistic digital media concepts
  • Ability to analyse numerical data and draw conclusions to underpin strategic plans
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Project management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • People management skills: feedback, development plans, handling sensitive conversations
  • Finance process knowledge: obtaining POs, budget/invoice reconciliation
