About the role

  • Area Sales Manager responsible for developing market-specific sales strategies and client relationships. Focused on customer satisfaction and project management in food technology sector.

Responsibilities

  • You develop market-specific sales strategies and actively implement them.
  • You regularly visit customers on site and maintain close, long-term relationships.
  • You coordinate the sales process in collaboration with internal teams and support projects through to successful installation.
  • You act as the interface between sales, technical, project management and installation teams — always focused on customer satisfaction and quality.

Requirements

  • Your qualifications: Master baker or refrigeration technician, food technologist or process/sales engineer
  • Product knowledge: Solid experience from the user/application perspective
  • Knowledge of project planning and implementation
  • Understanding of commercial/business processes
  • Client approach: A good listener with strategic insight
  • Empathetic and approachable
  • Deep technical expertise, persuasive in dialogue
  • Service mindset: Problem-solver with a hands-on mentality
  • A dependable caretaker who provides sustainable support
  • Trusted contact person (and, where appropriate, also a friend)
