About the role

  • Account Executive driving retirement solutions for Canada Life. Collaborating with advisors and promoting group retirement offerings while managing strong relationships in a competitive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain engaging relationships to drive excitement about the Canada Life group retirement business
  • Partner with advisors to review quote specifications for potential clients, and write and present proposals
  • Generate new business opportunities by actively prospecting and promoting Canada Life’s group retirement offering
  • Attend industry events, representing and promoting the Canada Life brand within the community

Requirements

  • 2+ years of sales experience; ideally in Group Retirement or Group Benefits
  • Strong sales and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written
  • Deliver results and exceed expectations
  • Strong relationship building skills with external customers
  • Ability to creatively put forward innovative solutions
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle, given the travel needs
  • Understanding of capital accumulation and defined benefit plans is preferred
