Responsibilities
Develop and maintain engaging relationships to drive excitement about the Canada Life group retirement business
Partner with advisors to review quote specifications for potential clients, and write and present proposals
Generate new business opportunities by actively prospecting and promoting Canada Life’s group retirement offering
Attend industry events, representing and promoting the Canada Life brand within the community
Requirements
2+ years of sales experience; ideally in Group Retirement or Group Benefits
Strong sales and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written
Deliver results and exceed expectations
Strong relationship building skills with external customers
Ability to creatively put forward innovative solutions
Valid driver’s license and vehicle, given the travel needs
Understanding of capital accumulation and defined benefit plans is preferred
