Responsibilities
Oversees schedule and correspondence for the Chair
Coordinate faculty searches including scheduling interviews and coordinating arrangements associated with visits
Coordinates faculty courtesy appointments and faculty leaves
Assists with event coordination for Departmental conferences, symposia, receptions and award ceremonies
Assists with coordination of the Departmental Colloquium Series, Brown Bag Series and Workshops
Facilitates all aspects of faculty tenure/promotion reviews
Attend and record minutes of faculty, staff and search committee meetings
Create and maintain files on all faculty including confidential material regarding salaries and promotions
Order, distribute and maintain database for all departmental keys
Co-coordinate room scheduling for Department space
Co-coordinate participant payment processes
Backup approver and reviewer for workday FIN transactions
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience
5 years of administrative office experience
