About the role

  • Salesforce Enterprise Architect leading design and implementation of Salesforce solutions for WGU. Collaborating with stakeholders to drive digital transformation and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient Salesforce solutions
  • Design end-to-end Salesforce architectures that ensure scalability, security, and maintainability
  • Lead the evaluation and redesign of current Salesforce solutions
  • Develop architectural blueprints, technical specifications, and design documentation
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the SDLC
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and standards
  • Drive continuous improvement by staying abreast of Salesforce platform updates, emerging technologies, and industry trends
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Salesforce platform, providing mentorship and training to team members
  • Collaborate with other architects and stakeholders to ensure alignment with overall enterprise architecture principles and standards
  • Participate in the development of roadmaps, strategies, and initiatives to enhance the Salesforce ecosystem and enterprise architecture

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or similar role, with at least 10 years of experience in designing, customizing, and implementing Salesforce solutions
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture principles, frameworks, and methodologies
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities, including but not limited to Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Experience Cloud
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, including integration patterns, data modeling, security, and scalability
  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Application Architect or Salesforce Certified System Architect
  • Proficiency in Salesforce technologies such as Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs
  • Experience with Salesforce DX, CI/CD processes, and version control systems
  • Experience with third-party managed packages, API integration principles
  • Experience using Lucid or Visio or another visualization tool
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and document technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive consensus in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong leadership abilities with a passion for mentoring and coaching team members
