About the role

  • HR-Generalist supporting personnel-related questions and legal matters in a hybrid work setting. Involved in contract management, payroll preparation, and HR projects.

Responsibilities

  • Advising and supporting managers and employees on HR-related and employment law matters
  • Drafting, reviewing and amending employment contracts and employment-related documents
  • Preparing payroll and coordinating with the payroll service provider
  • Coordinating applicant management, including conducting interviews
  • Managing individual personnel measures (e.g., warnings, terminations)
  • Supporting HR projects
  • Identifying optimization potential in existing HR processes

Requirements

  • Commercial vocational training (e.g., office clerk, HR clerk, tax clerk, etc.) or equivalent qualification with additional certification (e.g., payroll accountant)
  • More than three years of professional experience in personnel administration
  • Good knowledge of employment law and, where applicable, experience with collective agreements (GuA NRW)
  • Excellent MS Office skills and strong affinity for HR software (Sage HR Suite / ATOSS time tracking system)
  • Proven ability to work independently, strong organizational skills, creativity, and a high level of responsibility for one’s area of work
  • Personal qualities: proactive attitude, commitment to staying up to date, and a willingness to contribute hands-on
