  • Marketing Director at Walrus leading product marketing initiatives in B2B payment verification. Focusing on clear communication of complex technical ideas and strategic PR efforts in hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own how Walrus is explained
  • Translate complex, technical ideas into clear, concrete language
  • Produce, own, and continuously improve core materials (website, product pages, technical posts, sales materials, announcements)
  • Own events end-to-end (concept, content, execution)
  • Handle PR, including identifying and reaching relevant journalists and analysts
  • Use LinkedIn and other social channels to reach customers and partners directly

Requirements

  • 6–10 years of experience in product marketing, ideally in a technical or complex domain
  • Experience in early-stage or high-growth environments
  • Excellent writing, with examples of external-facing work
  • Experience owning core surfaces like website, product messaging, and written content
  • Independent operation in fast-moving environments
  • End-to-end ownership, from narrative through content to distribution
  • Uses metrics (engagement, conversion) to evaluate and improve work
  • Nice to have: Experience running campaigns or generating inbound interest or with marketing automation tools or in fintech, payments, or security
  • Experience working with analysts or press
