About the role

  • Senior Payroll & Rewards Specialist managing payroll processes across multiple European countries. Ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a great employee experience in the People team.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely end-to-end payroll processing for employees in assigned European countries.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax, Social Security, and labor regulations in each country to guarantee full compliance with local laws.
  • Collaborate closely with People and Finance teams to ensure the accuracy of payroll-related information.
  • Proactively identify and resolve payroll discrepancies or issues.
  • Ensure the correct enrollment, modification, and termination of employee benefits such as health insurance, pension plans, and other payroll-related benefits.
  • Support rewards-related processes linked to payroll execution.
  • Collect, maintain, and process accurate payroll data, ensuring confidentiality, data integrity, and compliance with data protection standards.
  • Act as a point of contact for employees regarding payroll and benefits-related questions.
  • Provide timely, clear, and professional support to resolve issues.
  • Perform regular payroll audits to identify potential errors or irregularities.
  • Maintain accurate and complete payroll documentation and records.
  • Identify opportunities to improve payroll and rewards processes, increase efficiency, and reduce errors.
  • Contribute to the implementation of best practices, policies, and process enhancements.
  • Act as a strong team player, collaborating effectively in cross-functional and international projects.

Requirements

  • Deep Payroll Expertise
  • Solid experience managing payroll in multiple European countries.
  • Strong understanding of local tax, Social Security, and labor regulations.
  • Technical Skills
  • Experience working with payroll software and external payroll providers.
  • Advanced skills in spreadsheets and data handling; database knowledge is a plus.
  • Communication Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to Detail
  • High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail when managing payroll data and calculations.
  • Additional Plus
  • Experience managing payroll outside Europe and/or working with multiple international payroll providers.
  • Education & Experience
  • Degree in Labor Relations, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing within a multinational environment, with a strong focus on European countries.
