About the role
- Manager leading fuel market analysis and financial support, overseeing technology implementation at JetBlue. Responsible for financial deliverables, reconciliation programs, and strategic partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Manage work to support weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial fuel deliverables
- Execute fuel gallon reconciliation program
- Oversee implementation of fuel technology projects
- Responsible for curating strategic Business Partner relationships
- Lead technology discovery work
- Explore, analyze and execute technology, analytics, and project-based cost savings opportunities
- Build and maintain internal and external relationships
- Ensure internal audit, contract service level agreement, covenant and Dodd Frank compliance
- Deliver daily, monthly and quarterly reporting
- Perform technical and fundamental analysis on macro and micro global trends/events impacting jet fuel prices
- Build, monitor and report on the company wide fuel budget and forecast
- Contribute to the development of robust standard operating procedure documentation
- Take a significant role in the development of crewmembers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field; OR High School Diploma/GED with 4 years relevant work experience
- Five (5) years of Aviation Fuel or Finance related experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Proficient in Snowflake and Tableau
- Strong analytical and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication including interactions with executive leadership
- Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
