About the role

  • IT Support employee assisting users with daily IT issues via phone and in person. Responsible for managing support requests and improving internal IT processes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist users with everyday IT questions remotely and on-site
  • Receive and handle support requests via phone, e-mail and ticketing system
  • Analyze, classify and resolve incidents in first-level support
  • Handle support cases independently or in close collaboration with the IT team at the main location
  • Carefully document all support cases in the ticketing system
  • Help users with questions about standard software, hardware and typical workplace equipment (e.g., printers, networks, desktop/laptop computers)
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of internal IT support processes

Requirements

  • Completed training as a Technical Assistant for Informatics, IT systems clerk, IT management assistant or a comparable qualification – career changers with strong IT knowledge are welcome
  • Initial experience in IT support, user helpdesk, service desk or IT customer support
  • Confident use of Windows operating systems and the Microsoft Office suite
  • Basic hardware knowledge (PCs, notebooks, printers) and general understanding of IT infrastructures
  • Strong service and customer orientation, communicative manner and enjoyment of working with end users
  • Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Structured, solution-oriented work style and willingness to learn new topics
