IT Support employee assisting users with daily IT issues via phone and in person. Responsible for managing support requests and improving internal IT processes.
Responsibilities
Assist users with everyday IT questions remotely and on-site
Receive and handle support requests via phone, e-mail and ticketing system
Analyze, classify and resolve incidents in first-level support
Handle support cases independently or in close collaboration with the IT team at the main location
Carefully document all support cases in the ticketing system
Help users with questions about standard software, hardware and typical workplace equipment (e.g., printers, networks, desktop/laptop computers)
Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of internal IT support processes
Requirements
Completed training as a Technical Assistant for Informatics, IT systems clerk, IT management assistant or a comparable qualification – career changers with strong IT knowledge are welcome
Initial experience in IT support, user helpdesk, service desk or IT customer support
Confident use of Windows operating systems and the Microsoft Office suite
Basic hardware knowledge (PCs, notebooks, printers) and general understanding of IT infrastructures
Strong service and customer orientation, communicative manner and enjoyment of working with end users
Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
Structured, solution-oriented work style and willingness to learn new topics
