About the role

  • Account Manager responsible for sales of Vodafone's standard products and solutions to business customers. Analyzing territory, managing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • As an Account Manager (m/f/d), you are responsible for selling standard products, catalog solutions and add‑ons to existing business customers as well as acquiring new customers within an assigned sales territory.
  • You are responsible for revenue and target achievement in the assigned sales territory.
  • You ensure a strong presence, effective customer support and customer retention for Vodafone in your territory.
  • You analyze the sales territory and qualify customer contacts; identify and acquire new customer potential and maximize existing customer potential; reduce churn.
  • You conduct needs analyses with customers, taking competitive conditions into account (price analyses, complementary needs).
  • You set challenging goals, prioritize them and focus on what matters; you manage your time and resources.
  • You take personal responsibility and are reliable and resilient.

Requirements

  • Abitur (German university‑entrance qualification) or equivalent and completed commercial vocational training as a minimum requirement; ideally a university degree.
  • 1–2 years of professional experience in selling telecom or hardware/software/IT products.
  • Target‑oriented: sets and prioritizes challenging goals.
  • Focused: concentrates on the essentials, manages time and resources.
  • Reliable and resilient: takes personal responsibility.
  • Very good written and spoken English (B2 CEFR).
