About the role

  • Recruitment Associate managing hiring processes and onboarding for VHIL team members. Generating recruitment statistics and building relationships with universities in Colombo.

Responsibilities

  • Assists the recruitment team in the entire recruiting process including reviewing resumes, conducting telephone screens and references, and preparing information and offer packets.
  • Acting as the front-line contact person for job applicants.
  • Placing job postings on all relevant platforms.
  • Collect feedback from interview panels and candidates to continuously improve the recruitment process.
  • Generate recruiting statistics reports for any other ad hoc report that may be needed.
  • Participate and represent the company at university visits, career fairs, and build strong relationships with universities.
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new hires by preparing materials, coordinating orientations, and helping with paperwork.
  • Oversee the completion of all necessary employee documentation, including contracts, confidentiality agreements, and compliance forms.
  • Prepare and maintain personal files for all VHIL team members.
  • Assist in developing and implementing employee engagement campaigns, initiatives, and events.
  • Support periodic HR analytics reports, projects, and initiatives by providing data.
  • Assist in managing employee leave processes through the leave management system, ensuring timely and accurate records.
  • Complete ad hoc HR projects and HR administrative tasks as requested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is required
  • One year experience in above mentioned areas.
  • Proficiency in verbal and written communication in English language is a must.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong administrative and document management skills.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to company culture and other processes.
  • Keen interest in Talent Acquisition.
  • Ability to multitask and work under deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Canva will be considered an added advantage
  • Willingness to learn, with enthusiasm and a strong capacity for hard work.
