About the role

  • People & Talent Operations Specialist managing HR operations in a fast-scaling music technology startup. Driving recruitment, compliance, onboarding, and performance frameworks as part of a growing team.

Responsibilities

  • **What You’ll OwnHR Operations & Employee Relations**
  • Manage day-to-day HR operations across both sites.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal policies.
  • Own employee lifecycle processes (contracts, probation, role changes, exits).
  • Maintain accurate HR documentation and audit-ready records.**
  • **Hiring Coordination & Onboarding**
  • Own recruitment operations in partnership with hiring managers.
  • Continuously improve hiring processes using data and AI-driven tools where relevant.
  • Design and manage a structured onboarding experience that drives early engagement and performance.
  • Ensure onboarding is consistent and scalable across both sites.**
  • **Performance & Policy Frameworks**
  • Support the rollout and continuous improvement of performance management processes.
  • Draft, update, and maintain scalable HR policies aligned with company growth.
  • Ensure policies and processes are clearly documented and consistently applied.
  • Support managers in performance documentation and conversations.**
  • **Systems & Process Ownership**
  • Own day-to-day administration and optimisation of HRIS (BambooHR preferred) and ATS systems.
  • Ensure data accuracy, reporting integrity, and system automation.
  • Improve people processes to increase efficiency and scalability.
  • Produce and maintain dashboards and reporting (headcount, hiring metrics, attrition, performance cycles).

Requirements

  • **Requirements:**
  • 4-6+ years of experience in HR / People Operations within a fast-paced, scaling environment (startup preferred).
  • Strong hands-on experience managing and optimizing HR systems, including Workable (or similar ATS) and BambooHR (or comparable HRIS).
  • Proven experience handling employee relations matters with sound judgment and discretion.
  • Experience building or improving structured onboarding programs.
  • Experience supporting performance management processes in growing organizations.
  • Experience drafting and implementing HR policies and scalable people processes.
  • Highly organized and process-driven, able to create structure in ambiguous environments.
  • Data-oriented and comfortable using HR metrics to inform decisions.
  • AI-curious and interested in leveraging emerging tools in recruitment and HR operations.
  • Strong communicator, able to partner effectively with managers and leadership across sites.
  • **Nice to Have**
  • Experience in a high-growth startup (50 → 150+ employees).
  • Experience implementing new HR systems.
