Sales Engineer managing customer relationships in the energy sector focused on low and medium voltage. Engaging in expert consultations and strategic sales initiatives in Frankfurt am Main.
Responsibilities
Expand and maintain existing customer relationships and acquire new customers in the low- and medium-voltage sector
Support and advise customers in detail using technical know-how, needs analyses, and technical and commercial feasibility consulting
Negotiate contracts through to order completion and handover of the installation
Implement action plans
Monitor market trends and competitor activities and develop recommendations for the sales strategy
Support site management and contract management in the technical execution and controlling of acquired projects
Work closely with project managers during proposal preparation and order processing
Requirements
Technical degree in Electrical Engineering / Power Engineering or vocational training with further qualification (technician/master) and relevant professional experience
Enthusiasm for topics such as system business, electrical power distribution, renewable energy feed-in, energy storage media, sector coupling and digitalization (Smart Grid and Microgrid)
Initial experience as a salesperson or Account Manager in a technical field
Sales aptitude and strong communication skills
Fluent German and good English
Initial project experience in low-, medium- and high-voltage environments
Knowledge of SAP is desirable
Driving license class B
