About the role

  • Sales Engineer managing customer relationships in the energy sector focused on low and medium voltage. Engaging in expert consultations and strategic sales initiatives in Frankfurt am Main.

Responsibilities

  • Expand and maintain existing customer relationships and acquire new customers in the low- and medium-voltage sector
  • Support and advise customers in detail using technical know-how, needs analyses, and technical and commercial feasibility consulting
  • Negotiate contracts through to order completion and handover of the installation
  • Implement action plans
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities and develop recommendations for the sales strategy
  • Support site management and contract management in the technical execution and controlling of acquired projects
  • Work closely with project managers during proposal preparation and order processing

Requirements

  • Technical degree in Electrical Engineering / Power Engineering or vocational training with further qualification (technician/master) and relevant professional experience
  • Enthusiasm for topics such as system business, electrical power distribution, renewable energy feed-in, energy storage media, sector coupling and digitalization (Smart Grid and Microgrid)
  • Initial experience as a salesperson or Account Manager in a technical field
  • Sales aptitude and strong communication skills
  • Fluent German and good English
  • Initial project experience in low-, medium- and high-voltage environments
  • Knowledge of SAP is desirable
  • Driving license class B
