About the role

  • Payroll Specialist ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing and compliance in a dynamic environment. Collaborating with HR for employee inquiries and supporting automated systems.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
  • Process employee hires and terminations as well as monthly payroll change records
  • Manage processes with social insurance authorities (AHV, UTG, KTG, PK, etc.)
  • Maintain and verify accident and sickness absences in insurance tools
  • Process and verify family allowances
  • Prepare withholding tax statements and reconcile related invoices
  • Perform account reconciliations and year-end processing
  • Prepare reports and statistics
  • Provide support for issues with automated time-tracking systems
  • Offer personal consultation to HR contacts and advise on salary and social insurance matters

Requirements

  • Commercial apprenticeship (business administration) or equivalent qualification with further training in payroll/social insurance
  • Several years of professional experience in a similar role
  • Solid knowledge of Swiss social security and labor law
  • Proficient knowledge of SAP HCM
  • Experience with time-tracking/time and attendance systems
  • Very good German language skills; English and/or French skills are an advantage
  • Independent, precise and structured way of working
