About the role
- Payroll Specialist ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing and compliance in a dynamic environment. Collaborating with HR for employee inquiries and supporting automated systems.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
- Process employee hires and terminations as well as monthly payroll change records
- Manage processes with social insurance authorities (AHV, UTG, KTG, PK, etc.)
- Maintain and verify accident and sickness absences in insurance tools
- Process and verify family allowances
- Prepare withholding tax statements and reconcile related invoices
- Perform account reconciliations and year-end processing
- Prepare reports and statistics
- Provide support for issues with automated time-tracking systems
- Offer personal consultation to HR contacts and advise on salary and social insurance matters
Requirements
- Commercial apprenticeship (business administration) or equivalent qualification with further training in payroll/social insurance
- Several years of professional experience in a similar role
- Solid knowledge of Swiss social security and labor law
- Proficient knowledge of SAP HCM
- Experience with time-tracking/time and attendance systems
- Very good German language skills; English and/or French skills are an advantage
- Independent, precise and structured way of working
