Responsibilities
Perform preparatory monthly payroll processes for payroll and salary accounting for our Austrian locations
Support a smooth end-to-end payroll process
Process travel expense claims (allowances, expense reimbursements)
Maintain and manage changes in the employee lifecycle (hire, transfers, etc.)
First point of contact for answering basic employee inquiries regarding their payslips and travel expense claims
Prepare reports and analyses
Close collaboration with internal HR interfaces as well as Accounting and Controlling in Austria
Provide support to ensure a smooth payroll process
Participate in process improvement and digitization projects within the Shared Service Center
Requirements
Relevant prior experience as a payroll specialist/payroll administrator (knowledge of Austrian regulations is an advantage)
Completed commercial/vocational education (Matura, vocational school, or equivalent) and payroll certification
Proficient in MS Office
Ideally experienced with SAP HCM and SAP Concur
Very good German language skills, written and spoken (min. B2+); good English skills
Accuracy, reliability and a strong sense of responsibility
