About the role

  • Payroll Specialist managing payroll processes and supporting HR Shared Service Center in Hungary. Collaborating with internal teams while using German and English languages.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preparatory monthly payroll processes for payroll and salary accounting for our Austrian locations
  • Support a smooth end-to-end payroll process
  • Process travel expense claims (allowances, expense reimbursements)
  • Maintain and manage changes in the employee lifecycle (hire, transfers, etc.)
  • First point of contact for answering basic employee inquiries regarding their payslips and travel expense claims
  • Prepare reports and analyses
  • Close collaboration with internal HR interfaces as well as Accounting and Controlling in Austria
  • Provide support to ensure a smooth payroll process
  • Participate in process improvement and digitization projects within the Shared Service Center

Requirements

  • Relevant prior experience as a payroll specialist/payroll administrator (knowledge of Austrian regulations is an advantage)
  • Completed commercial/vocational education (Matura, vocational school, or equivalent) and payroll certification
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Ideally experienced with SAP HCM and SAP Concur
  • Very good German language skills, written and spoken (min. B2+); good English skills
  • Accuracy, reliability and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Enjoy working in a team within a structured, service-oriented environment
