About the role

  • Account Manager responsible for managing and expanding customer portfolio in Human Nutrition sector. Collaborating with customers and internal teams to deliver nutritional solutions and achieve sales objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and expanding the customer portfolio within the Human Nutrition sector.
  • Working closely with both existing and potential customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate nutritional solutions.
  • Achieving sales objectives and strengthening market position.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Identifying new business and market opportunities.
  • Preparing and following up on quotes and sales contracts.
  • Pursuing sales objectives.
  • Working intensively with internal teams, including logistics and sales support, to ensure efficient service delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (Food Science, Human Nutrition, Biochemistry, Chemistry) or a related field.
  • At least 3-8 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and commercial insight.
  • Strong communication and social skills.
  • Good command of MS Office and ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and relevant certifications (FAMI-QQ, FCA, ISO) is a plus.
  • Solution-oriented thinking and a positive attitude.
  • Good knowledge of English, Dutch and French is crucial to build a good partner relationship.
  • You are a commercial talent who can work independently, organized, and result-oriented.
