  • Sales Specialist focused on building relationships in the Retirement Plan landscape. Achieving sales goals through electronic communication and strategic partnerships in financial services.

Responsibilities

  • Achieves established sales and retention goals through strategic selling activities
  • Provides leadership and guidance to other sales executives and support staff
  • Develop a strategic sales plan for identifying new business relationships
  • Partners with advisor organizations to raise awareness of Vanguard solutions
  • Represents Vanguard's investments and services in client/prospect meetings
  • Leverages vendor partnership to deliver 401k plan solutions
  • Develops strong relationships with senior and executive management
  • Identifies prospect/client needs and proposes appropriate solutions
  • Raises awareness of Vanguard's investments through targeted prospecting

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Master’s degree and/or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) preferred
  • Three to five years financial services experience with at least two years of successful institutional sales experience preferred
  • Up to 25% travel is required
  • Regulatory license and/or registration (e.g. FINRA, Series 7, Series 63) required
