Responsibilities
Responsible for developing, managing, and leading sales activities in service solutions mainly in Europe for flue gas treatment with a focus on wood-based panel and mineral wool industries
Maintain close contact with customers and stakeholders, leveraging Valmet’s strong customer network and EMEA sales organization
Identify customer needs, lead the proposal team, and find profitable solutions by combining Valmet technologies with value-adding services
Conduct technical and commercial negotiations with support from Valmet engineering experts
Ensure customer satisfaction with viable contractual terms in a competitive business environment
Proactively and customer-orientedly create new business opportunities
Customer support and marketing-related activities to strengthen Valmet’s brand as a supplier.
Requirements
Degree: M.Sc. (Eng.), B.Sc. (Eng.), B.B.A., or equivalent
Experience in technology-driven project sales and/or execution
Excellent customer focus and service mindset
Knowledge of the wood-based panel and mineral wool industries; energy sector experience is an advantage
Familiarity with flue gas treatment processes, wet electrostatic precipitators, and industrial processes
Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
Knowledge of contractual terms and conditions
Strong commitment and proactive approach
Fluent in English and German, spoken and written; additional languages are an advantage
Willingness to travel mainly within EMEA.
