About the role

  • District Sales Manager overseeing Territory Managers selling services for US Foods in Indiana. Responsible for achieving sales goals and mentoring team members for business success.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a group of Territory Managers (TMs) in the selling of the Company's products and services.
  • Direct TMs against opportunities in closing and acquiring new accounts.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to TMs to achieve profitable sales and case growth objectives.
  • Research, develop, and maintain long and short-range sales plans.
  • Assist TMs in warming leads and closing, while opening new accounts.
  • Submit and administer annual street sales operating plan and budget, tracking performance against plan.
  • Communicate sales data to contribute to product/service planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing or related field or equivalent experience required.
  • A minimum of five years of foodservice sales experience required.
  • A minimum of two years of supervisory experience required.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and negotiation skills required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have proficient computer skills, preferably in Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Valid driver's license required.
