About the role

  • Veterinary District Sales Manager at Mars responsible for executing Vet Business Unit strategy in Minnesota. Identifying new opportunities and managing relationships with urban centers and clinics.

Responsibilities

  • The Veterinary City Sales Manager is accountable for execution of the Vet Business Unit strategy and achievement of business objectives/KPI’s by identifying new opportunities and Vet influencers within a defined geography.
  • Utilize market data and drive a sustained Vet ecosystem by leveraging innovation and digital solutions.
  • Responsible for developing new business in under penetrated urban centers and clinics to grow relevance, access to clinics and Vet recommendation.
  • Making daily calls in the field to customers in your assigned territory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
  • 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B
  • Veterinary clinic experience preferred
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written)
  • Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • Overnight travel required, occasional weekends for conferences; approximately 20-30% travel
