About the role

  • Recruiting HR Partner providing full-cycle recruitment for the University of South Florida's Tampa campus. Partnering with hiring managers to fill various exempt and non-exempt positions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an integral part of the Talent Acquisition team by providing full-cycle recruitment service for the University of South Florida's Tampa campus
  • Partner with hiring managers to fill exempt and non-exempt positions
  • Research, develop, and implement effective strategies to develop high quality diverse talent pipelines
  • Perform full-cycle recruitment through creative and cost-effective sourcing methods
  • Proactively partner with hiring managers to identify current and future hiring needs
  • Assess position requirements and candidate qualifications to ensure alignment with requirements
  • Interview applicants to evaluate work history, education, training, and job skills
  • Develop and maintain internal and external networks to ensure a strong pipeline of diverse candidates
  • Use innovative sourcing and marketing/branding techniques to engage both active and passive candidates
  • Track, monitor, and report ongoing recruiting activities through the disciplined use of the Applicant Tracking System

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and two years of HR related experience; or Master's degree in an area of specialization appropriate for the program
  • Six years of HR-related experience or a combination of education and experience may substitute for the Bachelor's degree
  • Bachelor's degree with at least five years of high-volume recruitment/talent acquisition experience (preferred)
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably Oracle and People Soft (preferred)
  • Significant experience using the full recruiting capabilities of LinkedIn and other recruiting tools (preferred)
  • Strong ability with MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook (preferred)
  • Strong communication, organizational and negotiation skills, with a keen focus on delivering business results
