About the role
- ServiceNow Architect enhancing Bird & Bird's global ServiceNow platform. Collaborating closely with IT Service Delivery Manager and managing complex projects.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance ServiceNow solutions
- Oversee the entire development lifecycle from implementing new features through testing and release to documentation
- Develop automations involving external platforms and integrations/APIs
- Manage third-party service providers during the implementation of complex projects
- Test and deliver monthly security updates, app updates, and family upgrades
- Maintain, configure, and support ServiceNow instances
- Advise and support users to optimize their use of the platform
Requirements
- Several years of experience as a ServiceNow Architect or Developer
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Flow Designer, Service Portal, and IntegrationHub
- Experience managing external service providers and coordinating cross-functional teams
- Deep understanding of ITIL processes and ITSM best practices
- Familiarity with Power Automate, API integrations, and custom application development
- Structured and solution-oriented approach to work
- Team player with enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Very good German skills and solid English skills, both written and spoken
