About the role

  • Strategic leader for TomTom's HR People team, aligning people initiatives with business objectives. Drive portfolio management and champion a problem-first approach to people strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Define and continuously evolve the strategic direction for the People (HR) team.
  • Own and drive the portfolio of People initiatives and products.
  • Lead the People team to understand business challenges before designing solutions.
  • Partner with senior leadership and HRBPs to embed strategic initiatives across all functions.
  • Advance data-driven decision-making by sustaining and evolving a robust people analytics infrastructure.
  • Promote and develop “PowerSkills” within the team.
  • Leverage technology and automation to scale, personalize, and enhance HR products and services.
  • Ensure product-led principles guide prioritization and delivery.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and iteration.

Requirements

  • Strategic mindset with proven experience aligning people strategy to business objectives.
  • 5+ years of experience in portfolio management, organizational transformation, or agile execution within HR or related fields.
  • Strong change leadership skills, including experience in driving process improvements and cultural shifts.
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization abilities.
  • Comfort with digital tools supporting strategy and analytics (e.g., Productboard, Miro, or similar).
  • Ability to build strong relationships across C-level, senior leadership and HR teams, and collaborate beyond HR.
  • Interest in technology as an enabler of people-centered solutions.
  • Outstanding public speaking and communication skills; you enjoy being an ambassador for the People strategy and inspiring diverse audiences inside and outside TomTom.
  • Certifications in PMO, Six Sigma, Agile, or Scrum are a plus but not mandatory.
