About the role

Responsibilities
- Perform specialized operation and maintenance on mobile network systems or primary fixed networks.
- Operate and maintain multivendor backbone transport networks.
- Perform programming/configuration on networks based on multivendor equipment.
- Troubleshoot L2/L3 protocols and optical networks.
- Perform trend and behavior analysis based on statistical network and service data.
- Plan, execute and support scheduled activities on the backbone transport network.
- Prepare technical reports.
- Perform logical acceptance of transport equipment and services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree completed, preferably in Engineering or Technology/Networks-related fields.
- Knowledge of programming languages and scripting.
- Experience supporting operation and maintenance in multivendor transport networks for telecommunications operators.
- Experience in convergent environments covering both fixed and mobile networks.
- Experience with L2 and L3 protocols.
- Knowledge of DWDM, PTN and SDH equipment [Cisco, Huawei, Infinera, Padtec, Nokia, FiberHome and ZTE].
