About the role

  • Senior Director responsible for overseeing training program design and implementation at TIAA. Leading employee capability development while managing strategy and policy implementation for workforce improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of professional employees to oversee the design, delivery and administration of training programs
  • Manage the employee capability development needs of the business by reviewing and approving current learning and development programs
  • Enhance the performance of individual employees
  • Manage policy and strategy implementation for short-term results
  • Ensure that policies and practices are understood by direct reports
  • Communicate with leadership to develop management skills and implement best leadership practices within the organization

Requirements

  • University (Degree) Preferred
  • 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred
  • Excellent consulting skills
  • Ability to conduct a learning needs/gap analysis
  • Ability to influence at all levels of the organization
  • Proven people leadership skills
  • Deep knowledge of adult learning principles
  • TIAA business acumen
  • Thorough understanding of human resources functions and procedures
  • Understanding of Learning systems (Learning Management System, Learning Experience platform, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of AI in Learning systems
