About the role

  • HR Generalist supporting day-to-day HR operations at a growing law firm. Managing onboarding, recruiting, and HR administration in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate onboarding for new hires, including scheduling orientations and ensuring completion of all employment documentation
  • Prepare offer letters, job change documentation, and maintain standardized HR templates
  • Support recruiting efforts by posting jobs, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews
  • Assist with payroll and benefits enrollment for new employees
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HRIS data integrity
  • Support offboarding processes and general HR administrative functions
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, payroll, and benefits
  • Assist with reporting, compliance initiatives, and employee engagement efforts
  • Participate in in-office responsibilities, including onboarding sessions as needed (3 days onsite per week)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in HR, recruiting, or administrative support
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable interacting with leadership and professional staff
  • High attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS or ATS platforms preferred
  • Experience in a professional services or law firm environment is a plus
