Responsibilities
Support end-to-end recruitment processes for technical roles including AI/ML engineers, data scientists, developers, and technical marketing specialists
Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, and other channels tailored to the Mexico tech talent market
Coordinate interviews, maintain candidate communication, and ensure a positive candidate experience
Manage applicant tracking systems and recruitment metrics
Execute HR policies and procedures established by the HR Director
Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
Support payroll coordination, benefits administration, and time-off tracking
Ensure compliance with Mexican labor laws and regulations under HR Director guidance
Serve as first point of contact for employee questions and concerns
Support employee engagement initiatives and company culture activities
Assist with conflict resolution and escalate complex issues to HR Director
Help coordinate performance review cycles and feedback processes
Contribute to the development and improvement of HR processes and systems
Support training and development program coordination
Assist with HR analytics and reporting to support data-driven decision making
Participate in special HR projects as assigned by HR Director
Requirements
3-5 years of HR generalist experience, with exposure to tech or startup environments preferred
Experience supporting technical recruitment processes (exposure to AI/ML, software engineering, or data science roles is a plus)
Solid understanding of Mexican labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices
Hands-on experience with HR operations including onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance
Proficiency with HRIS systems and applicant tracking systems
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
