About the role
- Snr. Operations Manager coordinating the production department operations respecting quality and cost requirements. Ensures safety and availability of production capacity in a fast-paced international environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates the activity of the production department in order to produce products, in safe and secure working conditions, respecting the quality, quantity and cost requirements.
- Ensures the availability of production capacity in order to achieve the volumes requested by customers;
- Ensures the implementation of solutions proposed by the technical department and participates in finding these solutions;
- Knows and is aware of the importance of his activity and how he contributes to achieving quality objectives (impact on product quality, contribution to achieving, maintaining and improving quality, including the consequences in case of failure to meet customer requirements).
- Manages the processes of assessing the personnel needs of his/her subordinates, allocating tasks and responsibilities, allocating and communicating individual performance objectives,
- Establishing, approving and communicating learning-development plans/actions/events and evaluating the degree of achievement of objectives and the use of professional, personal and/or management skills of subordinate.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar position, with specific role responsibilities (detailed within job's responsibilities section), preferably in an international company.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Lean manufacturing/ Six sigma /Blackbelt / Lean Expert desirable.
- Core tools knowledge and proven experience.
- Knowledge of equipment safety and process ergonomics.
- Experience in training and motivating teams.
- SAP working experience.
- Fluent in English.
