Responsibilities
Ensure planned production volumes with optimal use of raw materials, auxiliary and operating materials, and energy
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements
Organize, control and supervise all plant operations
Production planning with regard to quality, cost and on-time delivery
Continuous improvement of production processes in close cooperation with Process Improvement, Technology & Engineering
Support and initiate maintenance measures as well as NA projects
Promote efficient internal processes, including the CleanFactory concept
Increase plant availability and apply statistical process control
Lead and develop production personnel (approx. 60 employees) with a focus on the foreman/shift supervisor level
Foster a performance-driven, safe and team-oriented working culture
Conduct employee interviews, performance evaluations and personnel planning
Work closely with Purchasing, Supply Chain Management and other interface areas
Monitor compliant operation in accordance with permit conditions
Contribute to the preparation and updating of permit documentation
Control and enforce work regulations and initiatives to improve occupational safety
Maintain and further develop the qualification matrix
Support the development of new products and processes
Identify and implement optimization potentials to increase efficiency and quality
Actively shape transformation and modernization projects
Requirements
Degree in Metallurgy, Engineering or a comparable technical qualification (e.g., master craftsman/technician)
Several years of leadership experience in a comparable role, ideally in the metals, chemical or process industry
Solid knowledge of production and process optimization as well as project management
Team-oriented personality with a cooperative and respectful leadership style
Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
