About the role

  • Operations Consultant supporting central projects in a major European nursing home operator. Collaborating closely with management and operational teams in the German healthcare sector.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the COO’s staff unit with direct reporting line to the Chief of Staff and the COO
  • Support planning, steering and implementation of strategic and operational projects
  • Perform analyses and prepare benchmarks, reports and decision papers, including evaluation of performance, quality and cost-effectiveness metrics
  • Close collaboration with operational facilities, regional management and central departments such as Controlling, Quality Management and HR
  • Prepare, assist and follow up on operational meetings and management meetings
  • Contribute to ad-hoc analyses, special tasks and the further development of processes, reporting structures and control instruments
  • Participate in site visits and coordinate with operational teams (willingness to travel required)

Requirements

  • Strong willingness to learn, initiative, enjoyment of project-based work, and high discretion and sense of responsibility
  • Structured, careful and independent working style
  • Strong communication skills, team orientation and confident demeanor when interacting with different hierarchy levels and departments
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking skills and interest in business and organizational issues in healthcare
  • Degree in Business Administration, Health Economics, Nursing Management or a comparable management-oriented degree desirable
  • Confident user of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Very good German language skills, spoken and written, and good English skills
  • Willingness to travel regularly within Germany
  • Valid driver’s license (Category B) is a plus
