About the role
- Broadcast Operations Officer working in master control room coordinating satellite signals and troubleshooting broadcasting issues. Handling on-air material preparation and ensuring content quality.
Responsibilities
- Work in the master control room to coordinate satellite signal reception, signal monitoring and troubleshooting of emergency problems within the broadcasting environment
- Handle program presentation including pre-recorded material and live switching
- Prepare on-air material, ingestion, quality check and daily on-air playlist editing
- Live feed recording, content encoding and transcoding
Requirements
- F.7 / DSE or IVE graduates, preferably in media/computing/engineering/science related disciplines
- Technical operations experience in production company/TV station is definitely an advantage
- Candidate should have a keen interest in developing their career in the broadcasting industry
- Multimedia transcoding knowledge is an advantage
- Willing to work on shift basis, including overnight shift
- Good command in Chinese and English
- Fresh graduate will also be considered
