Responsibilities
Independently perform the monthly payroll processing for our clients
Ensure timely payroll runs while complying with all tax and social security regulations
Record and maintain payroll-relevant master and transactional data
Serve as a point of contact for employees and clients on questions related to payroll, wage tax and social security
Coordinate with internal departments (HR, Accounting) on payroll-related matters
Support monthly and annual closings (e.g., provisions, filings/notifications to tax authorities and social security institutions)
Contribute to the analysis and optimization of payroll processes and to the introduction of new systems or tools
Requirements
Successfully completed commercial/business training or equivalent qualification
Initial professional experience in independent payroll processing
Strong knowledge of wage tax and social security law (German payroll legislation)
Confident use of common payroll software (e.g., SAP, DATEV, etc.)
Structured, conscientious and solution-oriented working style
Team-oriented personality with commitment and flexibility
Good German language skills (English skills are an advantage).
