About the role

  • Payroll Specialist managing monthly payroll for various clients, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and optimizing payroll processes. Join a specialized team contributing significantly to clients' success.

Responsibilities

  • Independently perform the monthly payroll processing for our clients
  • Ensure timely payroll runs while complying with all tax and social security regulations
  • Record and maintain payroll-relevant master and transactional data
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees and clients on questions related to payroll, wage tax and social security
  • Coordinate with internal departments (HR, Accounting) on payroll-related matters
  • Support monthly and annual closings (e.g., provisions, filings/notifications to tax authorities and social security institutions)
  • Contribute to the analysis and optimization of payroll processes and to the introduction of new systems or tools

Requirements

  • Successfully completed commercial/business training or equivalent qualification
  • Initial professional experience in independent payroll processing
  • Strong knowledge of wage tax and social security law (German payroll legislation)
  • Confident use of common payroll software (e.g., SAP, DATEV, etc.)
  • Structured, conscientious and solution-oriented working style
  • Team-oriented personality with commitment and flexibility
  • Good German language skills (English skills are an advantage).
