Head of Marketing responsible for B2B marketing strategies at Tagesspiegel. Overseeing lead generation and performance marketing activities in a dynamic media environment.
Responsibilities
You develop and implement the overarching marketing strategy for all Tagesspiegel Background products and ensure the brand architecture under the Tagesspiegel umbrella is clearly and consistently defined
You build a scalable model for lead and demand generation that includes inbound and outbound activities as well as paid and organic channels
In this role you manage performance marketing channels such as LinkedIn, Google, newsletters and retargeting
You plan and orchestrate go-to-market launches for new verticals, events, data products and training/education offerings
You create effective marketing assets such as whitepapers, webinars, case studies and event formats
You lead and develop the marketing team both professionally and as their line manager, driving the structured build-out and scaling of the organisation
You professionally manage external agencies and service providers and ensure a coherent external brand presence
Requirements
Several years of leadership experience in B2B marketing, ideally with complex or technically involved products
Proven track record in building scalable lead and demand-generation funnels
Strong data affinity and experience working in a KPI-driven environment
Experience with CRM systems, marketing automation and performance tools
Strong understanding of the alignment between marketing and sales (Revenue Marketing / RevOps)
Analytical strength combined with creative, solution-oriented thinking
Entrepreneurial, growth-oriented and hands-on mindset
Clear, structured and motivating communication and leadership skills
Confident handling of internal stakeholders and external partners
