Chargé.e d'affaires managing public sector accounts for Swile. Focused on developing and maintaining relationships with local government entities.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Public Sector Sales Directorate, as an Account Manager for public accounts you will be responsible for developing and retaining a portfolio of clients including town halls, local authorities and public institutions.
Define strategic public sector targets
Prepare and meet prospects ahead of public tenders
Respond to relevant public tenders (drafting technical proposals)
Prepare and participate in bid presentations
Ensure follow-up, customer retention, cross-sell and upsell across the client portfolio
Implement awarded contracts
Develop a 24-month action plan for the portfolio to identify markets due for renewal
Manage and engage referral networks
Conduct portfolio reviews to jointly define priority targets to meet and equip
Help evolve offers by reporting on the commercial action plan, consolidating tender reports, capturing client and prospect expectations, and promoting differentiating innovations.
Requirements
You hold a higher education degree in business/sales and have proven experience in client retention and business development within the public sector (strong plus)
Comfortable with long sales cycles
Familiar with public procurement processes and responses to public tenders (RFP writing)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Recognized for your initiative and commitment to building long-term client relationships
Highly responsive to manage a high volume of public tenders
Highly autonomous and able to optimize your activity
Strong team player with a genuine interest in collaborative work
Hold a category B driving licence (a company car will be provided) — Regular travel is expected across metropolitan France (approximately 1 to 3 times per week).
